About The Dance Theatre
Founded in 1986, Hilton Head Dance Theatre is a non-profit entity committed to fostering an appreciation of dance as an art form among Lowcountry residents and visitors alike. At the helm of the Dance Theatre since its inception are Artistic Directors Karena Brock–Carlyle and John Carlyle. Hilton Head Dance Theatre's repertoire includes beloved classics such as The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Giselle, Coppélia and Don Quixote as well as original works. After 35 years, Hilton Head Dance Theatre remains committed to sharing the joy of dance.

Performance Fees
These funds are used to cover the many costs of putting on a production including rental of the venue, hiring technical staff, hiring guest artists, refurbishing costumes and creating new ones. It does not go toward instruction or rehearsal time as these are included with tuition paid to Hilton Head Dance School. Payment also includes one DVD or a digital download of one performance.
